The Concise History of Ireland The Concise History of Ireland

The Concise History of Ireland The Concise History of Ireland

This attractive one-volume survey tells the story of Ireland from earliest times to the present. The text is complemented by 200 illustrations, including maps, photographs and diagrams. Sean Duffy, the general editor of the bestselling Atlas of Irish History, has written a text of exceptional clarity. Duffy stresses the enduring themes of his story: the long cultural continuity; the central importance of Ireland's relationships with Britain and mainland Europe; and the intractability of the ethnic and national divisions in modern Ulster. As a specialist in medieval Irish history, he gives the earlier period its due treatment - unlike most such surveys - thus introducing these recurring themes at an early stage.

About the Author

Sean Duffy is Professor of Medieval History at Trinity College Dublin and one of Ireland's foremost medieval historians. His other books include Ireland in the Middle Ages and Brian Boru and The Battle of Clontarf.

Ireland: A History Ireland: A History

Ireland: A History Ireland: A History

Ireland has rarely been out of the news during the past thirty years. Whether as a war-zone in which Catholic nationalists and Protestant Unionists struggled for supremacy, a case study in conflict resolution or an economy that for a time promised to make the Irish among the wealthiest people on the planet, the two Irelands have truly captured the world's imagination. Yet single-volume histories of Ireland are rare. Here, Thomas Bartlett, one of the country’s leading historians, sets out a fascinating new history that ranges from prehistory to the present. Integrating politics, society and culture, he offers an authoritative historical road map that shows exactly how - and why - Ireland, north and south, arrived at where it is today. This is an indispensable guide to both the legacies of the past for Ireland's present and to the problems confronting north and south in the contemporary world.

In Search of Ancient Ireland: The Origins of the Irish from Neolithic Times to the Coming of the English In Search of Ancient Ireland: The Origins of the Irish from Neolithic Times to the Coming of the English

This engaging book traces the history, archaeology, and legends of ancient Ireland from 9000 B.C., when nomadic hunter-gatherers appeared in Ireland at the end of the last Ice Age to 1167 A.D., when a Norman invasion brought the country under control of the English crown for the first time. So much of what people today accept as ancient Irish history—Celtic invaders from Europe turning Ireland into a Celtic nation; St. Patrick driving the snakes from Ireland and converting its people to Christianity—is myth and legend with little basis in reality. The truth is more interesting. The Irish, as the authors show, are not even Celtic in an archaeological sense. And there were plenty of bishops in Ireland before a British missionary called Patrick arrived. But In Search of Ancient Ireland is not simply the story of events from long ago. Across Ireland today are festivals, places, and folk customs that provide a tangible link to events thousands of years past. The authors visit and describe many of these places and festivals, talking to a wide variety of historians, scholars, poets, and storytellers in the very settings where history happened. Thus the book is also a journey on the ground to uncover ten thousand years of Irish identity. In Search of Ancient Ireland is the official companion to the three-part PBS documentary series. With 14 black-and-white photos, 6 b&w illustrations, and 1 map.

The Irish Origins of Civilization, Volume One The Irish Origins of Civilization, Volume One

The Irish Origins of Civilization, Volume One The Irish Origins of Civilization, Volume One: The Servants of Truth: Druidic Traditions & Influence Explored

The follow up to the acclaimed book Atlantis, Alien Visitation, and Genetic Manipulation, Michael Tsarion’s The Irish Origins of Civilization concentrates on the fate of the world after the fall of Atlantis and birth of evil.

In the tradition of Zecharia Sitchin and Immanuel Velikovsky, Michael’s investigations reveal the reason for the eradication of the Druids and highlight for the first time the terrible campaign of genocide against the ancient Irish elders whose knowledge once enriched world culture. Michael exposes the true origins of the world’s premier secret societies and reveals the remarkable mysteries they have been sworn to guard by sword and deception. He shows that the elements of civilization - megalithic construction, writing, music, astronomy, astrology, medicine, farming, navigation, and most importantly the principles of religion, originated in Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Every European needs to read this book to find out how the history of "Anglo-Saxon" man has been misrepresented and perverted. Michael explains the true meaning of the word Aryan and shows that it was the original name of Ireland. He explains the reason why so many tribes speak of the coming of the fair gods, the men of wisdom. He explains the connections between the Irish Druids and Egyptian Amenists and the ruin Akhenaton's Luciferian cult brought to Egypt and the world. As Michael wrote...

"What does it mean to live in the age of revealing? It means the light that royals and secret societies claim to adore is finally being shone brightly upon their own orders and ideologies. It means the Sun of Truth has finally risen to expose their once hidden machinery of tyranny and control…

…The auction of a whole civilization - the finest known - and the extermination of the Druids are two of many subjects brought to the limelight in these volumes. It is for this reason this author first chose - in Atlantis, Alien Visitation and Genetic Manipulation - to deal with Atlantis and Lemuria, since it was from there the story of the ancestors of Gaels and Celts begins. If we are to seek out the origins of Arthurian legends and Welsh, Irish and Scottish myths, it is to lost Atlantis and Lemuria we are to look. And if we are to seek reasons why the true story of these places and peoples has not been revealed, we begin with the powers that dominate and rule mankind from behind the obvious thrones of religion and politics. These ruthless agencies have their origins in the ancient past, and are biological or ideological descendants of the sorcerers of Atlantis…

…For those hot on the trail of the world’s premier secret societies, this book will be an invaluable source of revelation. It alone reveals the intelligence behind Royalty, Masonry and Judeo-Christianity.”

More Esoteric Symbolism

Not otherwise did the Christian Emperor Theodosius reason when in the year 389 he destroyed all the religious monuments that had been erected by the Egyptians on the banks of the Nile during six thousand years, leaving upright only the walls and columns too solid to be broken - Gustave Le Bon

The shepherd's staff or crosier did not originate with Christianity. The staff held by Catholic bishops was originally common to the priests of the pagan sun god Mithras. The Church also borrowed the term "father" from a term used to address priests of the cult of Mithras. What is more, in Irish the word for "saint" (niamh) is akin to the word "heavens" (neamh). See Appendix III for more on the cult of Mithras.

Symbolism shows us that there was unquestionably commerce and contact between the Occident and Orient in ancient times, a fact still denied by academics  today. LEFT: Figure dug up from under a tree in Ireland. The figure has characteristically crossed arms common in Egyptian sacred images. RIGHT: Similar statuette with "Buddhic" mudra. Christian monks successfully saw to it that icons of this kind were destroyed en masse.

...In my Celtic Druids I have shewn that the worship of Buddha is everywhere to be found - in Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. Hu, the great God of the Welsh, is called Buddwas; and they call their God Budd, the God of victory, the king who rises in light and ascends the sky - Godfrey Higgins (Anacalypsis)

Numerous analogies and correspondences with India are to be found in the Celtic and Celto-Iberian religion, which was familiar with the idea of reincarnation, a vegetarian diet, the tree cult and the swastika, a symbol that is found even today on the door-posts of Basque farmhouses. In the Musee Borely at Marseille there are two sitting stone figures, presumably cult idols, dated as originating in the second century BC...Although these figures are headless and believed by scholars to be Celto-Iberian gods, yet they are astonishingly similar to early Buddhist works of art, to bodhisattva sculptures characteristically sitting in the lotus position, with the brahmanic cord over the shoulder and bangles around the neck and upper arms and hands is also reminiscent of the mudras (gestures) in statues of the Buddha - Gruber and Kersten (The Original Jesus)

An examination of arcanum five - The Hierophant - reveals that the central figure, a pope-like initiator, holds in his hand a wand with three horizontal bars. This strange non-Christian motif is of Druidic origins. It represents the three divisions of the Druidic Order. This fifth arcanum is an oblique reference to the original Solar Church - the disseminator of sacred knowledge to the world. Subsequently, the Christian mythographers incorporated the number three, in their pontiff's tiara, and in the architectural layout of their churches and cathedrals, etc. And of course, it was incorporated into dogma as heaven, purgatory and hell, and in the sublime, but rather obscure trinity of God, the Son, and Holy Ghost. The penchant for arranging and dividing according to the trinity, was very conspicuous among the Egyptians, who had learned of it from the Druids.

The suits of the ancient Tarot (as well as of regular playing cards) are based on the four sacred treasures of the ancient Irish. These four august treasures which are the prototypes of the suits are the Wand or Lance of Lugh (the Sun King), the Sword of Nuada (the High King), the Stone of Manannan Mac Lir (God of the Sea), and the Cauldron of the Dagda (the All-Father).

Into this Cauldron of Plenty dead heroes could be placed to be given new life, and from it all manner of dead things could be renewed. It provided food during times of famine and was also used for divination purposes.

It is this sacred cauldron of the Druids, which became the prototype of the so-called "Holy Grail," the sacred chalice believed to contain to the "blood" of the dying savior Jesus Christ. Of course we understand that the motifs of the grail chalice, as well as that of the dying savior, are of Druidic origins. It was not Jesus' blood that the cauldron or chalice contained, but that of Esus or Iesa, the dying god of the Earth, who gave up his life and who poured his blood and life-force upon the land to ensure the renewal of all life. Esus was the earth, but also the sun. He died to be reborn. As the Sun King, he was the icon for victory, triumph over evil, and the unification of opposites.

The Bible contains many Druidic motifs. The composers of the Bible were not Semitic Jews, as most erroneously believe. They were the descendants of Atonist pharaohs from Egypt. As such, they could not help embedding their own ancient stellar motifs into the compilation. Later editors, not as familiar with the nuances and meanings of the Astro-Theological canon, made a travesty of the text. Some tales, such as that of Genesis, are very old, and were known throughout the ancient world. The motif of the Tree of Life was known to the Egyptians, Assyrians, Sumerians, Babylonians, Chaldeans, Phoenicians, and Irish Elders. Some believe that the alphabet of the Druids was based on thirteen sacred trees. (Here for more...)

The Kadosh: Third from the top we see the 30th degree of the Accepted Scottish Rite. It is known as the degree of the "Knight Kadosh." The Kadosh are the elect, and their symbol is the wand or staff. The eastern Kadosh were successors of the Aryan Druids. The syllable Kador Cad can be found in the word Caduceus, which referred to the staff and knowledge of Hermes, Thoth or Mercury. Mercury (as Ogma, Nikor, Cernunnos and Herne) was a prominent deity of the Druids. Temples and shrines to this horned god were numerous throughout Britain, France and elsewhere, until destroyed by Christians. Indeed, the rite of the Kadosh involved the four compass points, the four seasons and seven stages of the sun passing between Aries and Libra. The rite of Kadosh was based on Phoenician, Irish and Persian solar initiatory rituals. The syllable also appears in Cadmus and Cadmean, which refer to the Phoenicians and their wisdom. The Phoenicians were originally from Britain.

The Hebrew word kedushah,‎ means "holy." It also connotes "separateness," which suggests the Levites (the thirteenth tribe) who were considered the tribe apart. It may also denote the Female Dragon Court. The terms Kadosh and Kedushah can, in this sense, be traced to one of the most powerful goddesses of antiquity Qadesh (also rendered Qudsha or Qudshu, etc). She was the consort of El and then of Yahweh. Her name means "Holy Place." Also known as Asherah (Creatress of the Gods), her presence was downplayed by the scribes of the Old Testament. Her worship has been carried on for millennia by secret societies. Her animal totem was the lion. Depictions of this goddess see her standing on a lion or standing  between two lions. The twin lion motif is still visible in the great cities of the world, such as Rome and London. Stately homes and civic buildings also feature the motif, without the goddess symbol in attendance. Her main totemic symbol was the pillar (frequently employed by Masons), and even more significantly the tree of life. Her presence is subtextually apparent in the Genesis story of the two trees and females Eve and Lilith. It is also apparent in the story of Moses and the so-called burning bush (tree), the story of Moses and Aaron turning their wands into snakes before pharaoh, and in the story of the raising of the brazen standard in the wilderness after the Exodus. (Here and Here for more...)

If this be the true derivation of the Knights Kadosh degree, if it is goddess related, we see that at this level the masonic candidate is initiated into secret rites and traditions going back to ancient Egypt's dragon court, their way to becoming Princes of the Royal Secret, the topmost degree. It is significant that the degree is number 30. This reduces to 3 which connotes the goddess in her triadic aspect:

The grouping of gods into a 'trinity' was not evident in other religions, such as those in Syria. Thus when Syrian goddesses were adopted into Egyptian theology, they were combined as a 'trinity' of Kadesh, Astarte and Anath - Robert Feather (The Mystery of the Copper Scroll of Qumran)

Equestrian statues adorn most major cities of the Western world. In the occult world, however, the horse and the serpent are symbolically linked. The horse is referred to as a "nag." This apparently slang word for horses, comes from snagga or snekka, and from the Hindunaga, meaning "serpent." The sign of Sagittarius which is symbolized by the centaur (half man, half horse) was originally symbolized by a "dragon man."

Moreover, the black horse which is seen in many pictures, movies, ads, and designs, also stands for secret societies. The Latin caballus, meaning "horse" or "steed," has the double meaning ofCabala, referring to ancient secret knowledge and to cabals, referring to the members of eminent occult societies.

In esoteric circles the word horse is used as a pun for Whores, an insider's reference to the Female Illuminati. (Here for more...)

Suggestive Etymology

Two of the most prominent Christian theologians were known as Athanasius of Alexandria and Anthony the Great. Athanasius (296-373 AD) was bishop of the great Egyptian city of Alexandria, and was also known as Pope Athanasius. The name Athanasius means "deathless" or "immortal." (Thanatos is the Greek word for "death," and the capital letter "A" is a negative prefix.) Anthony the Great (251-356 AD) was born in Lower Egypt and was known as Anthony of Egypt. A celebrated saint of the Eastern Orthodox Church, his biography was composed by Athanasius of Alexandria. The name Anthony comes from Anton, meaning "valuable," or "priceless," and anthropos, meaning "man." It is often mistakenly believed to derive from anthos, meaning "flower." It was a elite Roman family name (see Mark Anthony), and was originally Etruscan. The syllable ath, supposedly comes from akte, meaning "holy" or "revered." Some believe the term Athos refers to the various Christian hermits and ascetics (such as Athanasius the Athonite) who frequented early churches on or near mount Athos in Macedonia. I suspect that these two names were not chosen by accident. They are suggestively close to the name Aton, which can also be rendered Atn, Athon, Athen, Eton, and so on.

Moses, Museaus & Manesseh

The name Moses refers to a fictional character and not to a real individual. It is a fictive reference to Atonist Pharaoh Akhenaton. After Akhenaton's fall, his ideological and biological descendants found new homes and bastions of power in lands outside Egypt. It is my belief that the chiefs of Akhenaton's solar cult were welcomed by certain elite families in many countries, including Britain, Greece and Italy.

In Greek history we find mention of a semi-mythical character known as Musaeus. This name is probably a variant of Moses, and most likely denotes a descendent of Akhenaton, that is, a chief of Aton. This link with the Old Testament Moses was emphasized by several historians of antiquity, including the second century Jewish historian Artapanus of Alexandria, himself of Egyptian descent:

Artapanus in particular claimed that Moses stood behind the figure of the Greek Musaeus, the Egyptian Hermes-Thoth - B. E. Colless (Divine Education)

If, like the name Moses, Musaeus was a title rather than a personal name, we may credibly assume that other pseudonyms for Akhenaton can be found in history as well as in mythology. This is certainly the case with the Hebrew name Manasseh, which denotes one of the twelve tribes of Israel. Remove the letters "n" and "h" and we are left with Masse, which closely approximates the name Moses.

It then appears that in the Masoretic Text the name of Moses was changed to Manasseh - Flavio Barbiero (The Secret Society of Moses)

This link between the prophet Moses (Akhenaton) and the tribe of Manasseh is most significant given the fact that the emblem of the tribe is to be found on the American one dollar bill. It is the famous eagle with its arrows.

(Vision of Constantine)

Vision of the Cross, by Raphael
Vision of the Cross, by Raphael
Vision of the Cross, by Raphael

Macedonia-born tyrant Constantine (271-337 AD), was the first Christian Emperor. His conversion from paganism to Christianity allegedly occurred after he received a numinous vision of the cross and sun disk outside Rome the day before he rode to attack his rival Maxintius. Accounts of what allegedly occurred are found in the works of Roman historians Lactantius and Eusebius. Both state that Constantine saw a cross in the sky. Lactantius states that Constantine was directed by God to mark the shields of his soldiers with the symbol of and X-shape or cross. Eusebius reports that while marching, Constantine looked upward and saw the cross and sun together in the sky. Apparently, the cross or X-shaped figure emerged from the center of the sun bearing the message In Hoc Signo Vinci, meaning "In this sign ye shall conquer." According to Eusebius' rendition, we see that Constantine's cross was really an X-shape with the Latin letter "P" (English "R") over it. In Latin the letter "X" is known as Chi, and "P" is known as Rho. Constantine's emblem therefore became known as the "Chi Rho." These two letters are also found at the beginning of the word "Christ." Eusebius records that Constantine was visited by Christ in a dream the night after witnessing the strange vision of the cross and sun.

Of course there has been much scholarly debate and speculation over this anecdote from Constantine's life. Several historians have concluded that Constantine witnessed a physical event, some kind of sidereal conjunction taking place in the heavens above him. I do not rule out the possibility of the vision having astrological or astro-theological significance. However, I think that the anecdote most probably does not refer to a physical event that actually took place. I believe the story was interpolated as a subtextual reference to Atonism. After all, we only have to think back and remember who it was in history who had constant visions of the solar disk in the sky.

The mythmongers were simply creating a mytho-historical composite of Emperor Constantine and Pharaoh Akhenaton. In other words, Constantine did what Akhenaton had done. The experience of the former parallels the custom and favorite pastime of the latter. The sun was the Aton and the cross or Chi Rho was the junction of the celestial equator and ecliptic which the sun passes when in the sign of Aries every year. Akhenaton's skewed brand of monotheism was conceived because of the transition of the Aton into sign of Aries, around 1400 years BC. Therefore, Constantine the creator of Christianity (New Atonism), has a vision that subtextually recalls Akhenaton, the founder of Egyptian monotheism.

The sacred monogram Chi-Rho, so called because composed of the Greek letters chi (X) and rho (P), is of Egyptian origin. According to Sir Flinders Petrie, the Egyptologist, the monogram Chi-Rho was the emblem of the Egyptian god, Horus, thousands of years before Christs – John G. Jackson (Pagan Origins of the Christ Myth)

The letters IHS constitute another sacred monogram of Christ. These letters were also the sacred symbol of the Greek sun-god Baccus or Dionysus. The Christians adopted them as they did many other symbols from the pagans - ibid

(Saint Jerome and the Lion)

#

Jerome was an early saint of the Christian Church. He is purported to have been born in 347 AD near to Dalmatia (Croatia). Some historians believe he may have been an Illyrian. His historical fame comes from his translation of the Bible into Latin. Saint Jerome's Bible became known as the Vulgate. He also wrote a vast amount of other works of theology. Jerome is considered a saint by the Vatican and the Eastern Orthodox Church. He studied in Rome, and, after his conversion, he became extraordinarily devout. He had much to say to his Christian audience about the horrors of hell that awaited them if they lost their faith and returned to a life of sin. In fact, Jerome was apparently obsessed with death and hell. Eventually, after living in France and Syria, he became more and more of an ascetic. He joined a small community of hermits in the deserts of Chalcis in Syria. While there, he learned Hebrew from a Jewish convert. Later in his life he made his way to Palestine to live out his days in a cave. He was later considered by the Church to be the patron of translators.

Many famous artists of later ages have portrayed Jerome the ascetic in his lonely cave, surrounded by his books and writings. In art, his symbols include a red hat or cloak, indicating his status as Cardinal of the Roman Church; a skull, ostensibly representing asceticism and contemplation on the mysteries of life and death; the cross; the owl, representing learning; and also the lion.

According to an apocryphal story, concocted in Medieval times, a wounded lion made its way to the monastery where Jerome and his brethren were staying. This strange and highly unlikely account interests us because the lion is not only the symbol for the astrological sign of Leo, the house of the sun, but it was a cardinal symbol for Akhenaton and for other Egyptian pharaohs. In an Egyptian context, the lion was a well known emblem of royalty.

(The Coronation Chair)

The history of the royal Coronation Chair is long and cannot be told here. We can but mention that King Edward's Chair was appropriated from Ireland by way of Scotland. It is the chair on which the first Atonist-Milesians kings of Ireland sat after their coronation at Tara. According to legend, the chair stood over the sacred "Stone of Fal" or Stone of Stones, which would cry out if a false king attempted to seize the reins of power. The Atonist (Solar) symbolism is apparent in the design of the chair. It is mounted on four Atonist lions, and the back of the chair is capped with a triangle representing the pyramid of Egypt.

As we see from the two photographs above, the Queen's throne, styled after King Edward's Chair, is identical in design to the chair employed by high degree Freemasons. In the lower photograph we see a grand master of Freemasonry seated in a chair featuring an eye and pyramid motif. Although the Queen is not officially a member of Freemasonry, she heads many other powerful orders, such as the Order of St. Michael and St. George, the Knights of the Garter, and Knights of St. John, etc. Many members of her family are senior members of Britain's most powerful secret societies. (See my presentation The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.) The symbolism incorporated into the Coronation Chair reveals that there are close ties between monarchy and masonry.

The Teutonic Knights

There exists not, upon the face of the earth, a better organized dictatorship, and which has maintained herself for so many centuries, than the Fascist political state of the Vatican. She has known how to use the name of Christianity astutely, and has willed to represent Christian values thus confusing and deceiving millions - Monsignor Rafael Rodriguez Guillen (Power of the Vatican)

It is insinuated that the symbolism employed by the Vatican, and by Protestantism and Catholicism, derives from Judaism and the so-called "Hebrews" of the Old Testament. We are not told that it derives from Egypt and Ireland. The Protestant churchmen have attempted to purge their religion of pagan symbolism, but their labor suffices only up to a point. To wholly erase the pagan symbolism from Christianity is to, ultimately, erase Christianity.

A study of the symbolism employed by Rome conclusively proves that there are strong connections between Catholicism and paganism. It also reveals sinister connections between Rome and various powerful secret societies. Furthermore, it gives us insight into the true origins of the Hitler's Nazi Party. Such a study furnishes us with proof that the supposed antipathy Nazis had toward Christianity was merely a facade to fool the mass of the Party's members. As the symbolism reveals, the connections between the Nazi Party and the secret orders of the Vatican were very strong indeed.

That the Vatican encouraged such investments and even donated money to Hitler himself cannot be denied. A German nun, Sister Pascalina, was present at its creation. In the early 1920s she was the housekeeper for Archbishop of the Vatican-Nazi connection...Eugenio Pacelli, then the papal nuncio in Munich. Sister Pascalina vividly recalls receiving Adolf Hitler late one night and watching the archbishop give Hitler a large amount of Church money - Loftus and Aarons (The Secret War Against the Jews)

Further research reveals that the symbolism of both the Teutonic Knights and the Nazis derives not only from Roman Catholicism, but from Judaism. Of course, as I have pointed out, the symbolism employed both by Christians and Jews has an even older origin. Prior to it being willfully corrupted, it was Druidic.

Compare the color and stripes of the Levite robe (in the picture above) with those found on the Nazi flag. As far as the world is concerned, there was not meant to be religious or ideological connections between Nazis and Jews. But again, as I have said, official history is nothing but a tissue of lies. Once we understand that the Israelites and the Levites were Atonist pharaohs of Egypt, and not a rag tag bunch of oppressed slaves looking for a homeland, the mysteries of religion and religious symbolism stand explained.

LEFT: The doorway of the Council on Foreign Relations HQ in New York, featuring solar rays and lion heads. A small detail but significant, given that this patently Atonist symbolism is also to be found on the door of 10 Downing St, the HQ of the British Government.

The truth regarding this enigmatic and impressive symbol is revealed by etymological evidence. In Egyptian the word for lion is - Ar or Ari. There is little difference between this word and that of ARYA or ARYAN which, as we show, did not signify race but rank - spiritual rank. It simply denoted intellectual and mystical status. Those of highest rank in ancient times were graduates from the great Druidic colleges that existed throughout the world. Perhaps the image of the lion - as well as the stag (known in Egyptian as AYIR) and the eagle - adorned the architecture of such colleges. We can't know for sure. In any case the symbol of the lion represented the pure and noble ones. Additionally, the Egyptian word for hero was similar to that for lion. It was aaraar, which still sounds like "Arya" or "Aryan." The Hittites of ancient Anatolia (Turkey), who were Aryans, had a capital city known as the "City of Eagles," and its main feature was its giant "Lion Gates."

In Irish Myth, the young solar king Lugh (lion) rides out to defend his people against the Fomorian giant Balor of the Evil Eye. Lugh rides out to battle and due to his radiance the assembled armies thought the sun had risen in the West. Advisor to Nuada, the mighty Lugh's full title was Sami-Ildanach meaning "Master of all the Arts." Riding toward Balor, Lugh slew his giant rival with the stone from a sling. This story of Lugh predates the rise of Judaism and perfectly illustrates the penchant for plagiary of later mythmongers, working on their assignments, under orders from the Setian-Atonists sitting high on their thrones in Britain and Rome. Their rescripted version appears as the story of David and Goliath as told in the Book of Samuel. The truth can still be glimpsed when we realize that the name Goliath is a corruption of Gath or Goth, and when we realize that the so-called Philistines were just that -Gothic-Aryans who had lived in the region for millennia. (Here for more...)

Lugh was the great lion, the great hero, of Ireland. Saint Paul's Cathedral in London was erected over a major temple to Lugh. The name London comes from LLud's Dun, or Lugh's Town. Ludgate in London still bears the name of the solar king in corrupted form. In Wales he is Llew, and was also known throughout the world as Lugos, Lugal, Llud, Lew, Lewis, Lui, Louis, and so on. He was clearly the inspiration behind the Arthurian Sir Lancelot. Spiritually, he represented the Logos, the holy word and will of God which goes forth like a straight lance or sword. Lugh was the prototype for all the daring young heroes who take on and overcome the forces of evil. (Read Lugh's saga here).

Lugh is similar to the Grecian Hercules and Hindu heroes Savitar Prthupani and Yudhisthira - the left hand archer of India. And I believe that the Old Testament Saul was also based loosely on Lugh. Saul was another spear-thrower. The idea that the pharaoh of Egypt was also a hunter of lions and a spear caster seems to be based on the myths of the Irish Lugh. The pharaohs seemed to be styling themselves on this god who was intimately connected with war, skill, hunting, and the sun.

There is no warrior on earth like the Left-Handed Archer, the son of Pandu, supreme master of arms. For the celestial chariot of the Gandiva the bowman is protected by the gods. No man can defeat him: don't set your heart on war! - (The Vedas)

Members of Lugh's priesthood frequented and probably lived in the Middle East, not far from Babylon. They may have been related to ancient Chaldeans and Amorites. In any case their presence has been well covered up. They were the Lewians or Luvians - the original Levites. It is from their traditions and symbolism that most if not all of the motifs of later Judaism derive, regardless of their complexion and adaptation. (They appears in the Old Testament as the so-called Shilonite Priesthood.)

Druidic Symbolism in America and the World

We have it on the authority of a Captain Davies, and Lieutenant Roberts of Hawcorden in Flintshire, and from a MS. entry in William Penn's journal, evidence collected by the famous Dr. Owen Pughe, that the tribes of the Illinois, Madocautes, the Padoucas and Mud Indians spoke the Welsh language - W. Winwood Reade (The Veil of Isis)

There is an abundance of legends and traditions concerning the passage of the Irish into America, and their habitual communication with that continent many centuries before the time of Columbus. We should bear in mind that Ireland was colonized by the Phoenicians...An Irish Saint named Vigile, who lived in the eighth century, was accused by Pope Zachary of having taught heresies on the subject of the antipodes. At first he wrote to the pope in reply to the charge, but afterward he went to Rome in person to justify himself, and there be proved to the pope that the Irish had been accustomed to communicate with a transatlantic world - Ignatius Donnelly

A good many Christians and Jews believe America to be the "New Israel." The Masonic Order is particularly fond of disseminating this theological concept, and today it is expounded from the pulpits of churches and by pontificating evangelists and their ken. As I show, "Israel" is merely a code word. It originally referred to the wise ones of Egypt, Ireland, Palestine and the world, to the high initiates of the stellar mysteries. It was later adopted and used by the Atonist cult whose descendants commissioned the writing of the Bible and funded the rescripting of ancient history in order to disguise their own origins, as well as the facts about the various power races, tribes and cults of the ancient world.

LEFT: The US flag. RIGHT: Flag of the British East India Company. The colors red, white and blue are known as the "colors of the king." So are the United States really the Estates of the Crown?

The United States of America is symbolized an eagle with arrows and olive branches in its talons. To the scholars who buy into the official story of the migration of Semitic tribes, this symbol derives from the Judaic Tribe of Manasseh. Above the eagle's head on the dollar bill is the six-pointed Star of David. The term "Camp David," comes from the Israelite or Atonist symbolic canon.

The coronation stone, upon which the kings and queens of England are crowned, is reputed to have come to Britain with Jeremiah himself, and be none other than the Bethel Stone upon which Jacob rested when he had his dream of the ladder ascending to heaven. The kings and queens of England are said to reign as custodians of the House of King David, and be of the "Seed of David." The dove which appears on the maces of the queen of England, and emblazoned on Visa credit cards, is also a reference to the House of David (Doved) whose symbol is the dove.

The cardinals of Rome, and Pope himself, can be seen wearing the yarmulke. Olden-day monks would shave their heads into a tonsure or ring to represent their secret god Set (Saturn).

Modern day priests still wear black clothes with the white collar around their neck symbolizing the Ring of Set. (Jews worship, on Saturday or Saturn's Day).

In Christian art we see the "halo" representing the sun, but also the rings of Saturn. Bells are rung in Churches as a call to worship. The word bell, however, comes from Ba'al or Bel, an early Phoenician or Irish god worshiped throughout the ancient world.

The "Union Jack" (from Jacob) - Jacob was supposedly re-named "Israel" by God and was the father of the 12 Tribes. However, Jacob - like David or Solomon - represents the sun. The nursery rhyme that reads "jack be nimble, jack be quick, jack jump over the candlestick" refers to the sun passing over the celestial pole. The rhyme of Jack and Jill going "up the hill" is likewise a Astro-Theological device cryptically referring to the passage of the sun (Jack) and moon (Jill) through the northern zodiacal arch and their subsequent "Fall" into autumn and winter. England's "Union Jack" is really of "Jacob," meaning a Solar (or Atonist) Union. The symbolism of this flag is explored more thoroughly in Chapter 41 of Volume Two, entitled The Scarlet Thread.

The Flag of Ulster (Northern Ireland) - bearing the Star of David, royal crown, and red hand motif. These are Druidic symbols each and all, not Judaic ones. Expert on Egypt Ralph Ellis claims that this red hand was based on the red glove of Atonist Pharaoh Aye (or Aya) who was fond of wearing trademark red gloves. We agree with this notion, since the Atonists did arrive in Ireland after the exile of Akhenaton in the form of the so-called "Milesians" or Children of Mile. According to Ralph Ellis, the red hand is the personal symbol of Pharaoh Aye, the brain behind the thrones of Akhenaton, Smenkhare and Tutankhamen.

Although many excellent volumes have been penned on the fascinating subject of occult symbolism in the public and political domain, sadly most do not go far enough in their exposes. Alarmingly, the work of distortion also continues. Many there are, in today's religious and political spheres, conspiring to ensure that the true story of the Druidic-Israelites never reaches the ears of the ordinary Jew and Gentile.

Conclusion

In the Druidic order indeed centered, and from it radiated to the whole world, civil and ecclesiastical knowledge of the realm: they were its statesmen, legislators, priests, physicians, lawyers, teachers, poets; the depositories of all human and divine knowledge; its Church and parliament; its court of law; its colleges of physicians and surgeons; its magistrates, clergy and bishops - Rev. R. W. Morgan (St. Paul in Britain)

The man who declares the various elements of civilization spread from West to East is considered a pariah. This is the way it has been in the past and it remains so today. Despite the evidence he musters to support his thesis, he is ignored.

The officially concocted "story of history" is too deeply embedded in the minds of those he encounters. Those with vested interests and much to lose should the truth be known, rather we accept that the customs and symbolic leitmotifs of Judaism and Christianity sprang into being for the first time - like Minerva from Jove's brow - from those sources and no other. The so-called "Stone of Bethel" can be brought from the East to West and no one questions it. But to say that the stone sat in Ireland thousands of years before its subsequent return is tantamount to academic heresy.

If a patriarch raises a pillar of stones in the desert, if he lays his head upon a stone to dream of ladders ascending to heaven, or if he passes a cup to his brethren during a sacred feast, we are to take it that he does so for the first time. We are not to question where the leitmotifs and singular rites came from or what they truly signify. It is unique to that telling and to that prophet even if he is later proven to be fictional. Facts are buried beneath a mountain of mythmongering. Apparently, those giving the history lessons are determined to learn little from the lessons of history.

In the Mahabharata, written some centuries after the Ramayana, mention is made of Sveta Dwipa, the "White Island"...to the north-West of Mount Meru, the abode of the gods and the demi-gods in Central Asia...Scholars have been puzzled by this mysterious White Island...The Isle of Britain' is called by the Welsh Y Wen Ynys - i.e. the "White Island." The Holy Graal, or Sanct Greal is said, by Keltic authors, to have been brought to the White Isle...part of England - Dorothea Chaplain (Matter, Myth, and Spirit or Keltic and Hindu Links)

Iona had certainly a Druidical college till the community was expelled by Columba for his own community, and the Highlanders still recognize it as the Druid's Isle. An old statistical work says, 'the Druids undoubtedly possessed Iona before the introduction of Christianity.' It must be admitted that the Culdees wore a white dress, as did the Druids, [and the Essenes] and that they occupied places which had a Druidical reputation. They used the Asiatic cross, now called that of St. Andrew's. Notably, in an Irish version of the gospel of St. Matthew, the phrase "there came wise men from the east" is rendered "the Druids came from the east." In like manner, in the Old Testament, Exodus vii. II, the "magicians of Egypt" are made "Druids of Egypt" - James Bonwick (Irish Druids and Old Irish Religions)

"Long time have we been informed by the writings of our ancestors," said Montezuma, "that neither myself nor any of those who inhabit this land are natives of it, but rather strangers who have come to it from foreign parts. We likewise know that from those parts our nation was led by a certain lord (to whom all were subject), and who then went back to his native land, where he remained so long delaying his return that at this coming those whom he had left had married the women of the land and had many children by them and had built themselves cities in which they lived, so that they would in no wise return to their own land nor acknowledge him as lord; upon which he left them...And we have always believed that among his descendants one would surely come to subject this land and us as rightful vassals. Now seeing the regions from which you say you come, which is from where the sun rises, and the news you tell us of this great king and ruler who sent you hither, we believe and hold it certain that he is our natural lord: especially in that you say he has long had knowledge of us" - Constance Irwin (Fair Gods and Stone Faces)

Regrettably, throughout the generations the false story of the East to West migration of symbols and cultural leitmotifs has been accepted as fact by the majority of academics and intellectuals.

It is also accepted, "hook, line and sinker," by the masses trained to blithely accept everything they've been told by their rabbis, priests and pastors. They believe the stories concocted for them about the East to West emigration of ten tribes of Israel, Jeremiah, prophets, apostles and other personalities. This theory propounded by "British-Israelites" is true to a point. It refers to emigrations that took place relatively late in history, after the Druids made eastward excursions and after their sublime gnosis was infused into far-flung cultures of the world. The crime families of the world want their underclasses to believe that the many symbols found on the Western worlds' flags, regalia, architecture and political and religious emblems, are the result of Westward emigrations of Jewish prophets and their followers.

However, once we know what is meant by the word "Jew," we put an end to the connivance of the mythmongers. We realize their adroitly devised story is not about poverty-stricken slaves but super-wealthy pharaohs and confederates with titles such as "Israelite," "Hebrew" and "Jew."

In any case let us not doubt that there were prehistoric emigrations from West to East, and that it was Western travelers who transmitted the elements of civilization to the world. Some antique traditions were carried back to Western lands by descendants of the megalithic elders and others who plotted the destruction of the Servants of Truth, whose existence and importance is almost completely forgotten.

Personal Position

Personal Position:
I've come to realize that 'truth' boils down to what we 'believe' the facts we've gathered point to. We only 'know' what we've 'experienced' firsthand. Everything else - what we read, what we watch, what we hear - is what someone else's gathered facts point to and 'they' 'believe' is 'truth', so that 'truth' seems to change in direct proportion to newly gathered facts divided by applied plausibility. Though I believe there is 'truth', until someone representing the celestial realm visibly appears and presents the heavenly records of Facts And Lies In The Order They Happened, I can't know for sure exactly what "the whole truth' on any given subject is, and what applies to me applies to everyone. Until then I'll continue to ask, "what does The Urantia Book say on the subject?"

About the Author

Thomas Bartlett is Professor of Irish History at the School of Divinity, History and Philosophy, University of Aberdeen. His previous publications include The Fall and Rise of the Irish Nation: The Catholic Question, 1690–1830 (1992), A Military History of Ireland (1996, with Keith Jeffery) and Revolutionary Dublin: The Letters of Francis Higgins to Dublin Castle, 1795–1801 (2004).
