The Gospel According to Jesus Christ The Gospel According to Jesus Christ
The Gospel According to Jesus Christ The Gospel According to Jesus Christ

A wry, fictional account of the life of Christ by Nobel laureate Jose Saramago

A brilliant skeptic, Jose Saramago envisions the life of Jesus Christ and the story of his Passion as things of this earth: A child crying, the caress of a woman half asleep, the bleat of a goat, a prayer uttered in the grayish morning light. His idea of the Holy Family reflects the real complexities of any family, and €”as only Saramago can €”he imagines them with tinges of vision, dream, and omen. The result is a deft psychological portrait that moves between poetry and irony, spirituality and irreverence of a savior who is at once the Son of God and a young man. In this provocative, tender novel, the subject of wide critical discussion and wonder, Saramago questions the meaning of God, the foundations of the Church, and human existence itself.

These ancient hieroglyphics were part of a larger collection of scrolls, some of which were first translated as the Book of Abraham by the Mormon prophet Joseph Smith in the mid-1800s. Michael D. Rhodes here reexamines the fragments and offers improved readings and photographs for further study.

The Emerald Tablets of Thoth-The-Atlantean The Emerald Tablets of Thoth-The-Atlantean

The history of the Emerald Tablets is strange and beyond the belief of modern scientists. Their antiquity is stupendous, dating back some 36,000 years B.C. The author is Thoth, an Atlantean Priest-King who founded a colony in ancient Egypt, wrote the Emerald Tablets in his native Atlantean language which was translated by Dr. Michael Doreal. This edition of the Emerald Tablets is unique in that it includes both the translation and interpretation by Dr. Doreal. Because of the tablet's reference to the Egypt and sacred geometry they became a priority reference for those studying the Flower of Life and the Merkaba meditation. As requested by the Flower of Life Organization, this edition offers Dr. Doreal's translation and interpretation in a side-by-side study format.
